Quarter courses in BDP

Quarter courses were not brought into BDP. This means that students who started Spring 2012 or earlier will be missing some of the credits from their BDP (these credits still exist in SIS and will be reflected on students’ transcripts). In order to reflect the completion of requirements in BDP from quarter courses, it is recommended that colleges waive the individual requirements that were completed with quarter courses with a note of which course(s), the term(s) in which the course(s) was taken, the grade(s) earned, and the credit hours earned. Total hours earned (and, in some cases, upper divisions, ASC 111 and/or 10 outside, residency, etc.) may also need to be waived to reflect the total earned hours.

**Currently, u.achieve exceptions are still viewable through u.achieve self-service. When they are no longer viewable online, there will be a repository where these previously posted exceptions are stored in case the information will be useful in reviewing a returning student’s record.

Requirement Terms in BDP

When a student needs different requirement terms for different parts of their degree, exceptions are no longer required. Most of this is managed via the plan and sub-plan tabs of a student’s CPP stack in SIS.
